Its high frequency horn is controlled with a variable level attenuator. To prevent overpowering and damaging the horn, a resistive bulb is wired in series with the horn for protection.

I've been using Ampeg proucts for 35 years, this cabinet is a perfect example of classic ampeg sound. It has plenty of deep response and a horn driver that you can control to add highs. It's compact and powerful enough to accomodate any performance setting. It's constructed extremely well and can handle plenty of watts. It's the best 4x10 cabinet I've heard and used. You won't be dissappointed.
